The Secret to Fearlessness 无畏的秘诀

"Do not call conspiracy everything that these people call conspiracy; do not fear what they fear, and do not dread it. The LORD Almighty is the one you are to regard as holy, he is the one you are to fear, he is the one you are to dread (v.12-13)." Rev Dr Gordon Wong notes, "We do not like to think of God as someone to be feared. We emphasise instead that He is a God of love. We think of God as gentle and harmless. He loves us, and would never bother us... People in the day of Isaiah were the same. They also tended to fear everything else but God... The secret to fearlessness is true fear: the fear of God." How much do you fear God?

你们不要说同谋背叛。他们所怕的，你们不要怕，也不要畏惧。但要尊万军之耶和华为圣，以他为你们所当怕的，所当畏惧的。(v12-13)。黄昌荣牧师说："我们不喜欢把上帝看成是令人畏惧的神。我们强调上帝是爱。我们认为上帝是温柔无害的。他住在我们当中，不会打扰我们的。。。以赛亚时代的人也是这样认为。他们也是倾向于害怕一切事物，但不惧怕上帝。无畏的秘诀是“真畏”：敬畏上帝。你有多惧怕上帝？
