When Fear Conquers Faith 当恐惧战胜信心

At the opening of Isaiah 7, we see a fearful king Ahaz, the grandson of King Uzziah. He was fearful because both Israel and Aram had attacked Judah and despite God's assurances, he could not muster up the faith to trust in God (v.12). In the latter verses, God issues a warning to King Ahaz against the sad and tragic consequences of a life that refuses to trust in God. Is there someone you know who is on the verge of panic and fear over some crisis in the office, school or home? Pray that he/she may find strength and peace through trusting in God.
