God Is Light 上帝是光
5 This is the message we have heard from him and declare to you: God is light; in him there is no darkness at all. 6 If we claim to have fellowship with him and yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not live out the truth. 7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all sin.
5 我们从基督所听到，现在又传讲给你们的信息是这样的：神就是光，在他里面毫无黑暗。 6 如果我们说自己与神相契合，却仍然在黑暗中行走，我们就是在说谎，没有遵行真理； 7 但如果我们在光明中行走，就像神在光明中那样，我们就是彼此相契合的；而且神的儿子耶稣的血也洁净我们脱离一切的罪。
In Scriptures, “light” and “darkness are familiar symbols. Intellectually, “light” refers to biblical truth; Morally, “light” refers to holiness and purity; Do you habitually walk in the light? If you do, you have fellowship with other Christians, and the blood of Jesus keeps on cleansing us from every defilement due to sin.
